Well, it looks like MineCraft finally got around to introducing better graphics...

BUT, only if you are running windows 10, or Xbox. So thats me out then, because I have enough grief in my life without going to win 10.

They are also going to start 'gouging' users by introducing minecraft coins, so brace yourself for everything useful gradally becoming a paid-for item :p

I guess Gates Corp needs to get that bag of money back that they gave Notch, and the win10 thing is their latest ploy to force everyone onto win10....at which point they'll start charging an annual fee to keep it updated. Anyone who thinks win10 was 'free' will get a reality check soon.

They've done a deal with Intel to cripple win7 on the latest generation of CPU too, and it didn't take the clever people long to figure out this wasn't down to any technical reason. It was done on purpose.

All of this shows two things.

    (1) Microsoft is desperate to get everyone onto win10

    (2) An awful lot of people are still giving them the finger.

So they keep ratcheting up the ante. But every time I hear it click up a notch makes Linux seem slightly more attractive.

Just another example of Microsoft's anticonsumer practices. Buy windows ten or an xbox one and then you can have 4k graphics, but if you don't, your games will be unplayable. This is why I play on the Java edition of Minecraft.
