LWC Item Protection
-
This Tutorial deals with the LWC plugin and to help you protect your doors. Chests lock themselves when you place them, but you can unlock them or use these commands to allow access to the chest.
Basic Commands you use all the time, that everyone should know:
/cremove - removes any security on the door.
/cprivate - makes the door only open for you.
/cmodify [name] or [@name] - by adding a name you are giving someone else permission to open your door. With the "@" before their name you are making them admin of the door, so they can modify it too if needed.
To remove someone from this list it's - /cmodify -[name]
/cpassword [password] - Puts a password on the door, that is the only way to access the door. (only needed to enter once for every log in.)
I observed someone putting a switch on a door I had set as private. The switch opened the door. So this means even though the door was private, this person still could gain access to inside the house or area. Here is a simple command to remove redstone access to doors.
/lwc flag redstone on/off - If 'on' redstone does not open doors, if 'off' redstone can open the door.
So let's say I don't want redstone to activate a door I would type:
/lwc flag redstone on
And to let redstone activate a door you would type:
/lwc flag redstone off
If you have more then one door or chest you want to protect you can use:
/cpersist - when this is active it will say "persist mode now on". What this does is for the security command you enter after, it allows you to add that sercurity command to every door/chest. Without typing the same commands over.
So For example:
/cpersist
/cprivate fatekieu
If I have four chests or doors lined up, I can left click each one and that security is added on without having to retype everything. Now the door/chest is private and fatekieu can access those also.
So let's say you have a guild hall with multiple doors. And only want certain people to be able to modify access to the door or chest, and to let people have access to open the door or chest.
Here's what I used for Presitge's guild hall:
/cpersist
/cprivate @fatekieu @taladis @lerch187 @ebifia pukie zzdustinzz
What I just did was give admin access to those doors to Fate, Taladis, lerch, and ebifia. They can open and modify those doors. In case we need to add someone or remove someone they can do this.
But also pukie and zzdunstinzz can open those doors, but they cannot modify those doors.
That's all that I can think about right now if you have any questions please ask away. Sorry if this is a little sloppy but I slapped it together because I thought it was important.
Thank Rebyen2000 For this amazing tutorial on LWC Item Protection
